NailGuard adds a soft builder layer for an overlay or salon-length structure over Silicone Thin Base. Leave it out for a straightforward MLaq manicure.

Instructions & Downloads

  1. Prep gently. Follow Magic’s nail preparation steps, cleanse with 99% alcohol or pure acetone, and avoid other-brand bonding products that can leave a film. Magic Primer Pen is optional; if used, follow its own directions before base.
  2. Build the bond. Gently scrub a thin layer of Silicone Thin Base into the prepared nail and brush it smooth. Keep a gap from skin, cover the free edge as directed, and cure for 60 seconds LED or 2 minutes in a 36-watt UV lamp.
  3. Continue with the service you planned: MLaq for a gel manicure, or the suitable Magic builder for an overlay or extension. Follow that gel’s own application and cure directions.
  4. For a restock kit, you receive six 15ml bottles of Silicone Thin Base. Keep the extra bottles for station stock; you don’t need to buy another base just to use the kit.

Description

Silicone thin base creates a perfect flexible bond between the nail plate (keratin) and a builder gel minimizing lifting problems.

Thin viscosity of the gel assists in effortless application and makes the gel fill the nail plate in an even layer. If you have clients who are hard on their nails or work with chemicals, use an Extra Bond Primer to maximize bonding capabilities.

To make sure the nails do not lift and the finished result looks amazing, leave 0.5mm buffer zone near the skin (but cover the whole free edge).

Cure time: 2 min UV in 36 watt lamp, 60 sec LED (depends on the bead thickness)

Application tip: to get a perfect coverage apply with a slow soft touch using Magic Brush
