100/180 Nail Files

The two faces give you a coarser and finer option for enhancement work. Check the grit before starting so you can shape and refine the product with control.

Instructions & Downloads

  1. Identify the side before you file: 100 is the coarser face; 180 is finer. Check the product label and the enhancement system you are working with.
  2. Use controlled, light pressure and keep the file moving. Do not assume a coarse enhancement file belongs on natural nail.
  3. For natural-nail shaping, choose a suitable fine abrasive and gentle technique; Nove Academy’s manicure guide advises filing in one direction and smoothing the free edge with a fine-grit file or buffer.
  4. Discard single-use files after each client. Follow your local professional hygiene requirements.
