  1. Choose Ultra Matte when a soft, non-glossy finish suits the set. Nove Academy suggests swatching the same color once glossy and once matte so the finish difference is easy to see.
  2. Finish shaping before applying the top coat. Apply it over compatible gel color using the bottle’s layer and cure directions; extra top coat will not correct an uneven structure.
  3. BEMI identifies Ultra Matte as soak-off. Plan removal using the exact color and top-coat system directions; a soak-off top does not make a file-off gel underneath soakable.
  4. Follow the cure directions on your exact bottle with a compatible lamp. Top coats can have different cure requirements.

Ultra Matte changes the way gel color meets the light, leaving a soft, velvety-looking surface without a glossy reflection. Familiar shades take on a different character: dark colors feel quieter, and pale tones put more attention on shape and color. Use it for a complete matte manicure or explore a contrast of finishes within a design. This is the UV-only matte option; follow its application notes.

Application
  1. Apply an even layer over fully cured, compatible gel color, keeping product off the skin and cuticle.
  2. UV only: cure for 2 minutes.
  3. After curing, cleanse the surface with a compatible gel cleanser and a lint-free wipe.
